2007 Citizen of the Year
Chief Judge Robert B. Bennett

The Sarasota Coalition on Substance Abuse (SCoSA) is pleased to announce that Chief Judge Robert B. Bennett, of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court, has been selected as our 2007 "Citizen of the Year." 

Judge Bennett's passion is to help those who are unable to help themselves due to substance addictions.  He has volunteered his time and efforts to make the dream of our own recently opened Marchman Facility for addictions located here in Sarasota a reality.


Without a doubt, Judge Bennett's impact on helping reduce drug abuse in Sarasota County is seen day in and day out.
