Project AIM (Alcohol Impairment Measure)
 

Educating retailers and service staff in the identification of potentially impaired drivers in an effort to prevent continued service to visibly intoxicated persons.  This course meets all State of Florida requirements under the Responsible Vendor qualifications (FSS561.705) 

 

The following topics will be discussed:

  • Identifying fraudulent use of identification

  • Identifying civil liability of servers and bar/vendor owners

  • Laws and regulations related to the service of alcoholic beverages to customers and underage consumption

  • Appropriate intervention strategies for dealing with intoxicated guests so you can defuse potentially dangerous situations before they escalate, while still providing great customer service

  • Explain Florida Dram Shop Law

  • Effects of alcohol in combination with commonly used drugs, both legal and illegal
